Item pickup as it appears in micro mode.
Items or "Seeds" appear as little blinking stars on the cube's surface (or down in its sea). Those little helpers can appear after a while, when certain conditions are met. Players will receive "Seed of Evolution", for instance, after they have captured 15 Organisms. Of course, sometimes, Navi will help out, such as in the first Episode "The Cube is born".
The River Source is the only item required for gameplay which will not appear in Free Mode without loading items from a Story Mode game or a Free Mode game which has previously acquired it from Story Mode.
