Mysterious Glass Jar is an item that can be used to collect a genetic sample of an organism to create a clone somewhere else. This is helpful for when a species spawns in a habitat that is unsuitable for it or to quickly increase its population. There are 3 in total, each with a cooldown time of 100,000 C.Y after placing an organism. In story mode one each can be found underground in Episodes 2, 3 & 4 in the center of the cube.
All 3 Mysterious Glass Jars start in the player's inventory in Free Mode.
