The warming and cooling stones are a set of six permanent items (3 warming, 3 cooling), which can be moved around. When placed, they affect a 31x31 area's temperature. As you progress through story mode, they can be found in the air or underground in the corners of the cube. The player can use these items an infinite number of times. However, only one stone can be used at a time and placing a stone will also remove any other placed stone.

All stones start in the player's inventory in Free Mode.
